Isha: What do you mean?

Rohan: Everyone either gets married for money, to settle down, to have children, to have companionship on a daily basis, but no one gets married for love.

Isha: Everyone wants different things in life right?

Rohan: Yes but isn’t it wrong?

Rohan: So you don’t think love is important?

Isha: I never said that. I’m just saying that we should….wait a minute, why is this bothering you so much?

Rohan: Now you’re going to tell me what I’m wondering and what I’m not? You are such a control freak. Why can’t you just let thing be the way they are? Why do you have this urge to control everything?

Rohan: you should stop thinking that all people in the world are nice and sweet, who dream of rainforests, animal right and world peace.

Isha: OMG! Startling revelations I must say..

Rohan: It’s not just about him…you don’t see reality for what it is.

Isha: hmmm can you elaborate?

Rohan: well... It’s not about Mr. 4 feet, eleven and a half inches. Don’t you think you trust too easily? That you are willing to believe the good in everyone and only that?

Isha: What wrong in trying to see the good side of everyone and everything?

Rohan: A lot but mostly that you’ll end up feeling hurt all the time because everyone will keep disappointing you. You’ll expect them to be these great souls who will do great things but in the end you’ll end up with mere humans who are greedy and stupid and hollow.

Isha: I’d rather be hurt than be cynical like you.

Rohan: Cynical? I see the world for what it is. I see people for who they are. That’s being grounded to reality and not being cynical.

Isha: Reality? That’s a joke. The world isn’t the way you see it.

Rohan: Yes of course it’s not. I mean wars just help us get closer. Riots just make us feel more alive. Massacres are a great population control tool. Everything is in such balance in this world.

Isha: Sarcasm is at its peak!

Rohan: now that’s how some people understand... Don’t they?

Isha: I’m not saying everything is right with the world. But it’s not the way you feel it is either. It’s not this dark place where everyone is only looking out for themselves. Not everyone is governed by their own selfish motives all the time.

Rohan: You’re impossible lady!!

Isha: Fine.

Rohan: Can’t you at least say thanks?

Isha: For what?

Rohan: I’m looking out for you.

Isha: Didn’t ask you to. Don’t want you to either.

Rohan : I’m thinking I should tell Huzefa I’m firing him…just to scare him, you know.

Rohan : Don’t you think he’s a little too much into his work? I mean for employee of the week, the prize he gave out was a Xerox machine

Isha : Rohan if everyone in this office worked like you did, we’d probably have become bankrupt long ago…

Rohan : So you’re saying I shouldn’t fire Huzefa….?? Wait what do you mean by if everyone worked like I did? Madam I’m a very successful match maker. I have matched up as many people as you have.

Isha : Really? You really think so?

Rohan: Think so…????? I know so.

Isha : Well maybe we should count. Probably will take a little while to get the right numbers but then at least we will have specific data points as to how many cases you have closed. We’ll also know whether you’re better than me at this.

Rohan : Oh come on…you don’t actually want to sit and count. It will take so long.

Isha : Well actually I do have a light workload today. Could spare a couple of hours for this.

Rohan : Whatttttt…are you crazy? You want to spend a couple of hours trying to prove what is already true? That just crazy.

Isha : Ya I know…but well I am crazy so shouldn’t I do crazy things?

Rohan : *ahem* well this is highly unprofessional of you. You should be spending your time doing valuable work, not work that is unnecessary.

Isha : I thought you were against people working too much. What happened to that philosophy?

Rohan : When did I said that?

Isha : Like 5 minutes ago when you were talking about firing Huzefa.

Rohan : Oh right! Obviously not going to threaten to fire him. Work is good. Work is worship.

Isha : Yup. Let’s see how much worshipping you do here.

Rohan : Oh come on Isha, you don’t have to sit and go through all our cases.

Isha : But why not? It might bring up such great memories. Plus we might get new ideas on certain things, look at how we succeeded, where we failed, etc. And most importantly we get to know how many people you got married.

Rohan : FINE…You have closed more cases than I have…..HAPPY?

Isha : Happy? Why would I be happy? I mean yeah sometimes it’s good to hear the truth but in this case the truth is very obvious and doesn’t need any repeating.

Rohan : Fine you watch. This year I’ll be a better match maker than you.

Isha : Hmmmm we’ll see.

Why Can’t Woman Handle the Truth Sportingly?

People lack the right perspective in life. I mean you live once, you might as well enjoy it right? I don’t understand guys like Mohit – they keep trying to become someone they are not especially because they think other people expect them to be different.

If people can’t accept you for who you are, they aren’t people you should want in your life. They bring the unnecessary stress of change. And that leads to unhappiness. You’d rather be alone, than be around people who don’t want the real you around.

Especially when it comes to the woman in your life. If she can’t handle the truth that you’d rather watch a cricket match than go out to dinner with her, she’s obviously not right for you. But women are generally confusing creatures. She wouldn’t leave her saas-bahu rona-dhona serial to have dinner with you, would she? Well actually she might because she’ll watch the repeat the next afternoon. But you get the drift. Why should men give up so many things and live a life of such restriction. I mean isn’t committing to just one woman a big enough gesture in itself?

Anywayyy you’ll never find me changing myself; just to get someone to love me more. I love who I am and how I am and that’s not going to change anytime soon.

Boys will Be Boys! Rohan on a Drinking Spree!

Gaurav was in town recently. Glad he decided to visit and also let us help him find a suitable match. Can’t believe he is finally looking to settle down.

Also can’t believe he and Rohan had a beer drinking competition. Boys will be boys I guess. They were sooooo competitive back in college. I guess both wanted the same thing – to be the center of attention – especially if there were girls around.

This competitive business is a total a waste of time if you ask me. What satisfaction can anyone get by knowing they can drink more beer than someone else? It’s just an ego boost that people look for. I mean I do take up challenges with Rohan if I have to but those are always work related and at least they bring in a little additional efficiency, on Rohan’s part. It’s not really a competition to beat each other either but rather just to match people better.

Well okay IT IS a little bit of an ego boost. But I believe you must always compete with yourself, to be better than you are. Your goal shouldn’t be to make someone lose but to better yourself so that you are setting new benchmarks for yourself.

Actually come to think of it, I don’t think Rohan wins too many competitions. The last few challenges we have had between ourselves, I seem to have won them hands down. Hmmm he’s probably not even realizing that I am beating him because I don’t bring it up. I think I will soon….you know so that he can ‘up his game’ and work a little better.

Rohan : Shouldn’t everyone have the opportunity to find a life partner in their life?

Isha : Well I meant second marriage. Why should someone who has already met the love of their life and spent a good long lifetime with their partner, look to find someone else.

Rohan : Second marriage? Isn’t that illegal?

Isha : Rohan you’re so silly. I meant after the first marriage is over.

Rohan : Ohhh like a divorce or death of partner? What’s wrong with people wanting to have someone to share their life with? How does young or old matter? At the end of the day, everyone just wants to be happy. And if happiness lies in sharing your life with someone then what’s the problem in getting married a second time?

Isha : Nevermind, I’m not going to get convinced with anything you have to say.

Why Do Girls Have To Be So Silly?

Girls are so silly sometimes. Gauri sends a ‘Loser’ poster but keeps my watch to harass me. So much drama for nothing. Well it’s sad she broke her arm but well I’m just happy she gave me my watch back. I’m not a sentimental sorts of guy but come on it was a gift from my mom.

The look at silly Rashmi wanting to get married just to hurt other people? Who does that? Why do people get married for everything except love? But the best thing about Rashmi being silly was that finally Isha yelled at a client. I wish I was right there when it happened. Finally I can say I’m proud of something Isha did. She can be pretty silly too. Sometimes you just have to yell at clients. It’s needed.

Well okay guys can be silly sometimes too but we don’t need to break our arm to realize we are going overboard. Huzefa toh thoda pagal ho gaya tha with his cost cutting antics. Best toh uske tube lights the. Oh and the only 2 cups of coffee a day rule could make anyone go crazy. Glad he is back to being his normal self. At least he’s so sincere – asking for a pay cut and all that.

A New Learning - Reality Is Not So Bad After All

I’m glad Rashmi finally decided to move on. Mayur is a good guy and they are so compatible. I feel terrible about yelling at her. It must be difficult to have your fiancé break up with you and get engaged to your best friend. Not only does it feel like such a huge betrayal, but imagine losing your fiancé and best friend at the same time.

I wonder if I would have tired to make my ex-fiancé and best friend jealous by getting a better groom like Rashmi was trying to do. Probably would have been too hurt to even think of something like that.

We’ll I’m glad everything worked out in the end. Also I’m quite impressed with Rohan’s spying ability. If we wouldn’t have found out the truth about Varun and Shikha how would we ever have helped Rashmi? Sometimes I think Rohan’s a great partner to work with.

Actors Kavi Shastri aka Rohan and Shruti Seth aka Isha had a funny incident on sets while shooting even though they hurt themselves a bit.Handsome dude Kavi shares an incident “Once I and Shruti had a running scene and there was oil on floor but nobody from the crew told us. I stepped on the oil and flew in air to land badly on the floor.” Poor Kavi hurt himself a bit but did surely provide a laughter dose to the crew around."

“Not just me but even Shruti fell down. Initially she just slipped but then if I was to fall then she won’t be spared too so I pulled her down with me and eventually we both landed with our asses on the floor” laughs Kavi. So, the leads just do not act together but even fall together. “Our crew is also funny as instead of helping us to get up from the floor our cameraman was busy shooting the incident” adds Kavi.
